Arete Investment has acquired an industrial property along the D1 motorway in Vyškov. The asset is fully-leased to Rompa, a plastic components supplier. The investment volume, according to the investor, was roughly €10m. “The realization of this transaction took us two and a half years, but all of our efforts and the efforts of our investors were worth it. The clearing up of old conflicts and the planned new construction there should dramatically raise the value of the entire complex,” said Lubor Svoboda, chairman of the board of the Arete Invest fund. “We expect that the value has already gone up 20 percent following the completion of the transaction.”
The property has 10,400 sqm of leasable area and can be expanded by another 3,700 sqm. “The property has an excellent position right along the motorway, it’s part of a local industrial park and the surrounding region has a sufficient supply of high quality labor, which by itself increases the value of the transaction,” said Tomáš Novotný, a member of the investor committed of the Subufnd Arete Invest CEE II.
