Property investment fund Arete Invest published its Q2 results, with the value of properties under management having grown to €53.5m. The yield of the open-ended sub-fund Arete Invest CEE II rose to 9.8 percent p.q., which is four times higher than expected. Lubor Svoboda, co-founder of the fund, said that the company plans further acquisitions in the Czech Republic and Slovakia before the end of this year. The expected value of the assets under management in the Arete Invest CEE II subfund during the 5-year investment cycle is €200m. Arete Invest was awarded a Czech Top 100 Special prize for innovation and transparency in the Czech investment market.
