Bulgarian insurer Armeec is planning to leave 18 European markets. These countries include Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Denmark, the UK, Greece, Portugal, Spain, Austria, Finland, Sweden, Cyprus, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Romania. No reason was immediately given. The company is part of Chimimport. Armeec Insurance’s major shareholders include the Ministry of Defence.
