ARPIM appoints new president

Efthymios Papataxiarchis, the managing director of Johnson & Johnson Romania and Janssen Romania, was named president of the Romanian Association of International Pharmaceuticals Producers (ARPIM). He replaces Regis Lhomme, the general director of Amgen Romania.

Papataxiarchis has worked in the pharmaceuticals sector for 17 years in marketing and sales positions. He moved to Johnson & Johnson after spending five years at Novartis. He was previously the vice president of APRIM.

Papataxiarchis said his main objective as ARPIM president is to strengthen the relationship between the pharmaceutical industry and the Romanian public.
