Art-Invest Real Estate has acquired the five-star Dorint Hotel Maison Messmer in Baden-Baden for its Hotel-Manage to Core-Fonds fund. The seller is Honestis AG’s close-end real estate fund. The purchase price was not disclosed. The historic property, built in 1834, was fully refurbished in 2001. The hotel features 152 rooms, six suites, a 300 sqm penthouse suite, a conference area, a terrace restaurant with a bar, an indoor swimming pool and 65 parking spaces. The acquisition was financed as consortium by Sparkasse Heidelberg and Sparkasse Baden-Baden/Gaggenau.
