Asmita Gardens flats selling at €1,050 per sqm

More than 20 apartments were sold at Asmita Gardens over the last two months, according to Euro Insol, the receiver of the company. The Bucharest residential project, which represents a €120m investment, became insolvent in November 2011. The complex includes 758 apartments in seven towers. So far, 398 units have been sold, with 10 selling in October and an additional 11 bought in November, according to Euro Insol.

When the project was first put on the market, the average selling price was €1,600 per sqm. Following the 2011 insolvency proceedings, however, the price dropped to €1,050 per sqm.

Asmita Gardens offers 60 four-room apartments, 296 three-room apartments and 332 two-room apartments as well as 70 suites and seven penthouses. The project also includes 5,900 sqm of commercial space, a 1,900 sqm spa center and 9,000 sqm of gardens, children’s playgrounds and green space.
