The Municipality of Kula, Serbia has signed a memorandum of understanding with Attis Industries based in the United States. The investor specializes in the production of alternative fuels, and in Kula it’s interested in building and opening a new production plant. The company’s plan is to invest between €60m and €80m over a 24-month period, once it obtains all the necessary permits. Vanessa Begeto, a representative of Attis, said that they had considered several locations in Europe. She added that the company would like hire around 160 people and that plans to start construction can be expected in the next six months.
