Chilean hospitality company Atton Hotels is set to open its first U.S. scheme by June 2016 in Miami’s Brickell district. The 12-story, $65 million project located at 1500 S.W. 1st Ave. will have 275 rooms, 4,207 square feet of meeting space, a gym and a 90-seat Latin American restaurant. Fort Lauderdale’s Moss & Associates was selected as the general contractor for the project while Miami-based Revuelta Architecture designed the property. This will mark the company’s seventh property since it was founded in 2000.
“This is a hotel for today’s business and leisure travelers to Miami that choose to come to the thriving Brickell area,” said CEO of Atton Hotels, Francisco Levine. “We have been observing Miami for the past three years and every day it is unleashing more of its potential as a global destination for tourism and business. For us, it was very easy to make the decision to invest and develop here.”
