Audi is planning to invest HUF 41bn into its vehicle manufacturing infrastructure and engine development center as well as its electric motor unit in Hungary. Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s minister of foreign affairs and trade, said the government will support the German carmarker’s investment with a HUF 6.4bn grant. The company’s expansion efforts are expected to add 250 jobs to the local labor market. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of next year.
