Aurelis buys business park portfolio from Union Investment

Aurelis Real Estate acquired four business parks across Germany, totaling 104,000 sqm of space, from Union Investment. The cost of the deal was not disclosed. The properties, located in Dusseldorf, Cologne, Liederbach and Wiesbaden, were built between 1988 and 2001. The Dusseldorf property is located in the city’s Heerdt district and offers 35,000 sqm of warehouse and office space. The one in Cologne covers 18,800 sqm of space and is situated in the city’s Rodenkirchen district. The investment in Liederbach on the outskirts of Frankfurt, totaling 32,500 sqm, is the largest facility in the newly purchased portfolio. The Wiesbaden business park, meanwhile, offers 17,400 sqm of space. Union Investment was advised on the legal aspects of the deal by GSK Stockmann + Kollegen.
