The average monthly gross wage on the Macedonian market increased to €533 in July, according to the State Statistical Office. Wages increased y-o-y in a number of sectors including construction (9.1 percent), administrative and support service activities (6.4 percent) and agriculture, forestry and fishing (6.2 percent).
On a month-on-month basis, gross wages increased in wholesale and retail trade as well as motor vehicle and motorcycle repair by 3.4 percent, followed by manufacturing (3.3 percent) and administrative and support services (2 percent).
