The average gross wage for full-time employees in Hungary increased by 11.5 percent y-o-y to HUF 358,876 in August, according to the latest data published by the Central Statistical Office. Average net wages, meanwhile, also increased to HUF 238,653 for the month. Taking into account 3.1-percent inflation, real wages increased by 8.1 percent in August, according to the Central Statistical Office.
