The average gross wage on the Romanian market was RON 2,875 in July, only RON 1 higher than the previous month, according to data published by the National Statistics Institute.
The average net wage was RON 2,078, up 12.4 percent y-o-y. The highest average net earnings were reported in the information technology service sector (RON 5,487), while the lowest was reported in hotel and restaurant sectors (RON 1,296).
