Avignon Capital, the European property investment company, has added the Berliner Union Film campus in Berlin to its German portfolio. Along with the site, the firm has acquired Berliner Union-Film (BUFA), an operational film company. Clive Nichol, Director of UK and European Investment at Avignon Capital, has been appointed as Managing Director of BUFA. The film campus, a 24,000 sqm facility, contains office and studio space, storage and is occupied by a wide variety of media companies, including YouTube and the Met Film School. Avignon Capital intends to grow the site’s operational revenues and position BUFA on the international film production stage. Avignon Capital received legal support from Berwin Leighton Paisner.
