International commercial real estate firm Avison Young (AY) announced a strategic affiliation agreement with Athens-based QRA Real Estate Advisors. Further expansion in Southeast Europe (SEE) – soon after entering Croatia in Q1 this year – supports the company’s growth strategy and demonstrates AY’s commitment to capitalize on opportunities in the region.
Greece’s real estate market is undergoing a rapid transformation, driven by a growing demand for people-centric and energy-efficient buildings. This dynamic shift reflects the country’s strong economic recovery, making it a resurgent destination for investors, offering an attractive proposition for both residential and commercial investment.
This new collaboration will be led by Alexis Kotsioris (Principal & Managing Director) and Eri Mitsostergiou (Principal & COO).
Alexis has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate advisory and transaction services in Greece. He has successful advised on investment transactions totaling over EUR 1.2 billion in retail, office, and logistics assets within the country. Previously, he worked at Savills Hellas for 18 years and has been running his own advisory firm for the past five years, specializing in commercial real estate brokerage.
Eri has more than 25 years of extensive experience as an international property analyst, specializing in European and Global research and consultancy. Formerly the World Research Director at Savills, her expertise lies in providing strategic guidance to clients in their real estate investment decisions.
Alexis Kotsioris, Principal and Managing Director of AY Greece: “We strive to act as a catalyst for a more professional, transparent, and sustainable real estate market.
