Avison Young was named exclusive leasing agent of the McPherson Building in Washington, DC. Located just two blocks from the White House in the city’s central business district, the 12-story, 256,000 sq ft building was recently acquired by Northwestern Mutual for $209.1m. Amenities include a fitness center, a bike room, a Starbucks and a three-level underground parking garage. Tenants include Booz Allen Hamilton, Davis Polk, New York Life and Baxter International Healthcare.
