After years of restructuring its subsidiaries, the insurer Aviva Group has finally made a healthy profit over the first six months of the year. The company reports that all of the companies operating under the Aviva brand made a profit, totalling PLN 308.5m. Aviva itself posted PLN 12.7m in profits for the January to June period. At this time last year, the company was reporting a loss of PLN 36.4m. Aviva collected PLN 186.7m during 2012 from insurance premiums, up from PLN 136m posted last year.
