On behalf of one of its clients, AXA IM has acquired the Abba Hotel in Berlin. The transaction was structured as a sale-and-leaseback agreement with Abba Hotels, which will continue operating the property on a new long-term lease. The hotel, located close to Berlin’s main shopping street, Kurfürstendamm, features 214 rooms and 22 underground parking spaces. The price of the deal was not disclosed.
