AXA Real Estate Investment Managers has acquired a development site in Valencia, Spain, where it plans to build a full-service hospital. The price of the deal, conclude on behalf of AXA’s clients, was not disclosed. AXA intends to develop a 36,000 sqm hospital capable of treating 150,000 patients a year. The hospital will offer 210 private rooms, 15 intensive care units, 87 outpatient surgeries and 15 general operating theaters. IMED Hospitales has signed a pre-lease agreement with AXA to operate the new medical facility.
