Norwegian company Axactor has acquired Project Otello, its fourth portfolio on the Spanish market containing €144m worth of NPLs. Axactor will finance the investment using its own liquidity as well as credit facilities from the Norwegian bank DNB. By purchasing the portfolio directly from Banco Mare Nostrum (BMN), the acquisition is the first the company has completed on Spain’s primary market.
