Bank of China has moved into its new Hungarian headquarters in central Budapest, following its hand over by Cushman & Wakefield. Following the bank’s purchase of the property from Credit Agricole, C&W managed and supervised its complete refurbishment, selecting a designer, contractor tendering, construction management and technical supervision. The new offices offer 4 upper floors and one underground level along with a 150 sqm bank branch on the ground floor.
Ádám Csikós Associate, Head of Project Management at C&W Budapest said “We are always glad when a project is not solely about technical aspects and in this case we had to take great care of the design. An old, monumentally protected building always poses challenges but I believe that the final result produced a harmony between the expectations of our Client and the historical surroundings.”
