Bank of Spain: Default rates decreased in Q2

The default rate dropped significantly on loans to developers and construction companies at the end of June, according to the Bank of Spain. The default rate for real estate developers was at 32.12 percent in June, down from 38 percent the previous year. The volume of bank loans for real estate projects also fell 5.6 percent from Q1 to €138m at the end of June.
