Bankers expect the euro / zloty exchange rate to be 4.54 at the end of February 2022, according to “Monitor Bankowy” published by the research company Kantar. The expectations for the USD / PLN rate are PLN 4.01, and for the CHF / PLN rate – PLN 4.29.
A month earlier it was respectively: PLN 4.62 for the euro, PLN 4.18 for the dollar and PLN 4.38 for the Swiss franc.
On the currency market in the morning the euro was traded at PLN 4.57, the dollar – 4.08, and the franc – 4.40.
Bankers from 90 branches expect inflation in the period December 2021 – December 2022 to amount to 8.41%.
In December 2021, CPI inflation in the amount of 8.6% y / y was recorded in Poland.
