The last day of January turned out to be the last day of operations for Bar Clube Ferroviário, a popular social landmark in Lisbon. The club became one of the most emblematic icons of the Portuguese capital’s night life over its five-year history. It shared the building with the Ferroviário Clube de Portugal (CFP), however the CFP failed to renew the lease for the space. The club opened in 2010, consisting of a bar and restaurant, along with a 250 sqm terrace and offered a range of cultural events from concerts to tango classes.
