Odelo Farba Bulgaria, part of Bayraktarlar Group, started construction on a car parts plant in Plovdiv, southern Bulgaria. The investment is expected to cost €40.6m, according to news reports. Underway on a 23,000 sqm plot, the plant will manufacture headlights for Mercedes-Benz vehicles. The project will include three production units and add 400 jobs to the local labor market.
