BBCA Group to build Hungary plant

Chinaʼs BBCA Group will build a citric acid plant located in Szolnok, Hungary. The company just signed a syndicated contract with its Hungarian partners. The cost of the deal is HUF 62bn. Output will start at 60,000 tons annually, but BBCA Group plans to raise feedstock to 500,000 tons within a year. The investment will add 440 jobs to the local market. Construction is set to break ground next year.
