BC Partners has finalized its €1.85bn acquisition of a majority stake in United Group from the KKR investment fund. KKR will retain a small stake in United, a leading provider of media and communication services in Southeastern Europe. The group, which was established in Serbia and headquartered in Amsterdam, employs more than 4,400 people and services 1.8 million homes in six countries through various subsidiaries, including SBB, Telemach, United Media, Channels Sport Club, Nova TV and N1 TV.
