UK-based private equity firm, Benson Elliot has sold the Kurfürstenstrasse 87 office building in Berlin. Market sources report that the company acquired it along with Budapester Strasse 35 in a sale-and-leaseback transaction with Berliner Volksbank in March 2015. The new buyer is a pension fund advised by Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors. According to market information, the 6,192 sqm building was sold at a 4.0% yield, having last undergone major renovation in 2002.
