Berlin Hyp finances six car parks in the Netherlands

Berlin Hyp is planning to provide €36m to Bouwfonds Private Dutch Parking Fund II for the partial financing of the car parks. The properties are located in Dutch cities such as Nieuwegein, Zaandam, Amersfoort, Breda, Eindhoven as well as Amsterdam. Most of the properties are under long-term rental and management agreements with the parking operator Q-Park.
The initiator of the closed-end car-park real estate fund is Bouwfonds Investment Management Deutschland. The group’s main focus is on the Netherlands, Germany and France, with a special emphasis on the asset classes commercial, residential and car-park real estates.
