Kempinski hotel in High Tatras and Bratislava’s Crowne Plaza have changed hands. Best Hotel Properties (BHP), member of J&T Group, have sold the two five star properties – one in Štrbské Pleso and the other in central Bratislava — to Nova Hotels at €56m. Nova Hotels is managed by Redside, which is part of Arca Capital. Trend.sk reports that the sale was prompted by the need for cash to distribute to shareholders. However, BHP is also said to be considering hotel investment opportunities in London and Moscow, with idnes.cz claiming the company has its eyes on the Prague Hilton.
