Bidli best on low energy family homes outside Prague

9 July 2020

The developer Bidli has begun the development of a set of 16 low-energy family homes in the village of Liber located 10km from the southern edge of Prague. The majority of the units will offer 193 sqm of space on land plots of between 650 sqm and 850 sqm at a price of between CZK 9m and CZK 9.5m. The homes are made from factory produced wooden components and can be completed within six months of being purchased. They come with solar panels already installed that can both power appliances in the home as well as heat water. Bidli intends to complete the first phase of construction of the homes in spring of 2021. “More and more people are looking outside of Prague for places to live, in towns that can offer quiet surroundings and nature but at the same time services and good connections to the capital,” says Roman Weiser, Bidli’s director of development. He points out that the new metro D line will be just 15 minutes while an interchange onto the new D3 motorway is to be built on the other side of a hill in Liber.
