Banks have reported 1.153 million home loan accounts subject to credit holidays, worth PLN 285bn, to the Credit Information Bureau’s (BIK) database by 30 November 2023, BIK said.
Earlier, the bureau reported that banks had reported 1.153 million housing loan accounts covered by credit holidays, worth PLN 285bn, to its database by 26 November 2023.
Under the Community Financing for Economic Ventures and Borrower Assistance Act, borrowers were able to apply for four months of credit holidays in 2022 and can apply for credit holidays this year as well.
