4 July 2013

The engineering and services group Bilfinger has won orders for the construction of two state-of-the-art office buildings with a total volume of €140m.

In the German city of Ludwigshafen, a new office complex is being built of the chemicals group BASF at the Rheinufer Süd site. In the future, about 1,500 of the company’s employees will be working in an area covering 38,000 sqm of floor space. The property will be completed in the fall of 2014.

In Berlin’s downtown core close to the main railway station, Bilfinger is building the HumboldtHafenEins office complex. The building has been designed in line with the strictest requirements of the German Association for Sustainable Construction (DGNB) and will receive the DGNB Gold certification. The building has about 30,000 square meters of floor space and will be completed in 2015.
