Bilfinger, the engineering and services group, has received a major order from its long-standing client Chevron Upstream Europe for maintenance services at several offshore oil platforms in the North Sea. The contract, with a potential value of approximately €60m, runs for three years and has two additional renewal options. The services include, among other things, scaffolding, insulation and corrosion protection for five platforms off the northeast coast of the United Kingdom.
Bilfinger has supported Chevron for more than ten years in the maintenance of their offshore facilities and even in major inspections of oil drilling platforms.
