Arbor Realty Trust has named Bill O’Brien as its newest senior vice president of agency production. In his role, O’Brien will oversee the development and growth of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac production pipelines. He will also handle agency relationship management. O’Brien has more than 25 years of commercial real estate lending experience, having served between 2008 and 2018 as director of multifamily at Fannie Mae. From 1996 to 2008, he worked at Capmark Finance Inc. /GMAC Commercial Mortgage, where he served as senior vice president and director of underwriting and origination.
“Bill’s deep agency product knowledge and relationships, along with his many years of multifamily experience, will help support Arbor’s strategic growth plans as we continue to further increase our leadership as a top agency lender,” said Frank Lutz, Arbor’s executive vice president and chief production officer.
