Blackstone acquires 10 logistics properties in Germany

Blackstone Real Estate Partners Europe IV acquired 10 assets in Germany for its European logistics company, Logicor, from TREI Real Estate. The €200m deal includes the Plus warehouses in Kerpen, Hamm, Berlin, Bottrop, and Tuningen, as well as two investments in Nieder-Olm and warehouses in Viersen and Ottendorf, near Dresden. The seller was advised by NAI apollo and Hengeler Mueller, while Blackstone and Logicor were advised by CBRE, Gleiss Lutz and Deloitte.
“This acquisition was a unique opportunity to acquire a substantial, high-quality portfolio in Europe’s largest logistics market. We now have a significant footprint in Germany, with 28 assets across the country leased to a broad mix of retail, third-party logistics and manufacturing customers,” said Mo Barzegar, CEO and president of Logicor.
