The Blackstone Group has closed on the purchase of two warehouses in Orlando in a $12.5 million transaction. Located near the Orlando International Airport at 10805 Southport Drive and 10950 Palmbay Drive, they changed hands for approximately $99 per square foot. The two properties, the 73,900 sqf Southport Industrial Center and the 52,016 sqf Palmbay Center were acquired from Boston-based High Street Realty Co. The sale marks the third purchase in the Orlando market for Blackstone over the past 30 days. Blackstone Group spent $175.25 million to buy two buildings in downtown’s Church Street Station area from Boston-based TA Associates Realty last week.
