Blake A. Horsley – Vice President and Head of Acquisitions – Benevo Capital Corporation
Blake A. Horsley is the Vice President and Head of Acquisitions at Benevo Capital Corporation and will be one of the Retail Panelists this year at CEDER Conference.
Blake Horsley has 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate, specializing in Capital Markets, both transactional and fund raising. Blake started his career in New Zealand, working in Investment Sales for Colliers International. At just 23 years old Blake was appointed manager of the Metropolitan Sales and Leasing Teams in Wellington the capital city, and thus became the youngest ever manager globally for Colliers International, the world’s 3rd largest commercial real estate agency.
In 2008 Blake moved to Romania as Director of Capital Markets for Colliers. Blake built this division from scratch and under his guidance over a 5 year period they enjoyed a market share of over 80% of all institutional investment deals closed by real estate agencies in Romania. Blake then joined Benevo in early 2013 as General Manager of Emerging Markets.
Over the past 10 years Blake has successfully closed transitions and equity raisings of circa US$500 million.
Blake brings a strong knowledge of capital markets, deal structure, private equity and finance structures and lives full time in Eastern Europe.
