10 October 2012

The low-cost airline operator Blue Air has increased its weight limit on free carry-on luggage from 7 to 10 kg. The change comes after rival airline company Wizz Air introduced a new €10 fee for carry-on luggage.

Blue Air operates to 29 European destinations, departing from Bucharest, Bacau and Sibiu.

The company, owned by Romanian businessman Nelu Iordache, reported a €149.5m turnover for 2011, down 9 percent from 2010.
