BNP Paribas targets wealthy clients

BNP Paribas aims to increase its total assets volume to PLN 1bn by the end of the year, a substantial jump from its current level of 700m. The French-based lender hopes its new private banking offering will attract the wealthiest Poles to entrust their money to the bank. So far, BNP has focused on the clients with assets of up to PLN 600,000. With the new strategy, it will be targeting clients with more than PLN 1m.
