Bonita Springs site buyer rezones land for commercial and residential scheme

29 June 2016

Core Development has acquired a vacant 24 acre tract of land in the city of Bonita Springs in Lee County. Located just west of I-75 on the south side of Bonita Beach Road, the site has been approved by the Bonita Springs City Council for rezoning for commercial and multifamily development. Current plans call for the construction of approximately 20,000 square feet of retail space along Bonita Beach Road and Quail’s Nest Lane along with 264 multifamily homes in four mid-rise buildings on Quail’s Nest Lane off Bonita Beach Road.

“Identifying this market as a place we wanted to be, Core Development was pleased to be able to buy this strategic property from Stratford Land,” said Keith Jennings, development partner for the buyer. He said the two companies had worked together to achieve the rezoning.
