Bosch and the University of Minho has concluded a new €55m research and development agreement (R&D) that will take them through 2018. The R&D project carried out jointly by Bosch Car Multimedia Portugal and the University of Minho is of national strategi interest and will result in the hiring of more than 90 engineers and 170 fellows. The project aims to develop solutions that will shape the future of mobility. The administrator of Bosch Portugal, Carlos Ribas, says that “the investment in R&D turns out to be a driving force for the growth of production in Portugal, as shown by the growth forecasts of sales, which are expected to exceed €1bn in 2016.”
