Bosnalijek, the largest pharmaceutical company in Bosnia, opened a new production plant in Sarajevo. The facility will manufacture non-sterile semisolid and liquid forms of drugs. The company currently employs 870 people in the country and is planning to hire more people to staff its new plant. Bosnalijek, established in 1951, operates on three continents and is planning new expansions in the Middle East, Asia and the US.
