The Bosnian company Autoceste FBIH has signed a contract with the contractor Euro-asphalt Sarajevo for the construction of a 2,650 meter stretch of motorway between Ponirak and Vraca. The builder is expected to complete the work within 30 months at a cost of €60m. The most complicated portion of the project is the construction of a 2,475 meter tunnel. The state will be paying for just €10m of the investment, while the European Investment Bank is providing the remainder. Autoceste director Adnan Terzic said he was pleased the company had managed to complete the process of awarding the job to a contractor during the first half of the year.
