The property fund BPH FIZ Sektora Nieruchomości has extended the date of its liquidation. One of the reasons for the decision could be the recent decline of prices on the Polish property market. According to the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, the fund had not yet received any bids for its portfolio from potential buyers, possibly because of a lack of available financing for such investments.
BPH FIZ Sektora Nieruchomości holds office, retail and warehouse assets. Dziennik points out, that real estate funds are currently facing serious problems to sell their assets, with buyers often pushing to lower the prices right before the closure of the fund.
