BPI Real Estate plans new projects, including in Warsaw and land purchases this year

17 January 2024

BPI Real Estate Poland plans to launch new projects this year, including the start of a new residential development in Warsaw, as well as land purchases, announced BPI Real Estate Poland General Manager Béranger Dumont.

“The year 2024 will be very busy for us. We will complete three residential investments: the exclusive and intimate Bernadovo Apartments project in Gdynia, the Czysta 4 apartment building in Wrocław and the Panoramiqa estate in Poznań. At the same time, we will continue with a premium investment – Chmielna Duo in Warsaw and the multi-stage Cavallia estate in Poznań, which is being built in cooperation with Revive,” said Dumont .

He added that the current year is also a period of intensive preparations for the company to launch new projects, including the start of construction of a new residential development in Warsaw.

“BPI Real Estate Poland also has land purchases in its plans for 2024. In line with the strategy we have adopted, we are primarily interested in plots of land on which we will develop our premium real estate business in the following years. And so, at the end of 2023, we secured a site for a high-quality residential project located close to the Gdansk city centre. We anticipate launching the project, which will feature sustainable solutions, in 2026,” added the General Manager.

He pointed out that since the beginning of the second half of 2023, the residential market has seen a sustained recovery.

“The economy and the geopolitical situation are stabilising, which, combined with available financing, is translating into increases in sales of units. However, demand for housing in Poland, combined with the economic recovery and rising wages, is colliding with insufficient supply. The result of this imbalance is increases in property prices. In the absence of any impetus to stimulate the supply side, we expect these trends to continue also in 2024,” Dumont concluded.
