Bratislava’s cornlofts to turn into new neighborhood

15 September 2016

Architect Martin Paško, in cooperation with the investor Čas, is planning to rebuild the historical cornlofts in Bratislava’s Jarovce district into a fancy residential complex with shops, cafes and restaurants. Design Center Jarovce will include the refurbishment of two historical buildings as well as three new builds. Paško wants the project’s pedestrian zone and square to become a new central point for the Jarovce district. Flat prices range between €2,000 to 3,000/sqm. Financed by Slovenská spořitelňa, the project is scheduled for completion in late 2018.
