Bratislava set to green-light passenger harbor

13 April 2015

The new passenger harbor in Bratislava could finally secure zoning after a few changes have been made to the project’s plans. The investor, Slovenská plavba a prístavy, has agreed to reduce the building’s height so that it meets the requirements of the city administration and conservationists. The architect Martin Paško of Adom. M Studio told Trend Reality that the investor has not yet secured a planning permit for the project, which should have been built last year, but he believes that it will be issued within a few weeks. The building’s height was reduced to three floors from the original five. It will offer a café and a restaurant on the ground floor, two terraces for visitors, and a 48-room hotel.
