The real estate investment firm Brickman has sold a Long Island City office building for $90 million. A partnership of Metropolitan Realty Associates and TIAA paid just under $280 per sqf for the 322,390 sqf commercial building at 47-25 34th St. The two companies plan to spend more than $10 million to upgrade the property into modern office space. Over 50 percent of the building is vacant while the rest is used as warehouse and showroom space. Brickman bought the building in 2014 for $60 million.
