Bridgestone will invest HUF 9.2bn to increase capacities at its plant in Tatabanya, northwestern Hungary. The Japanese tire producer will add a 10,000 sqm warehouse to the property, which will allow it to store up to 600,000 tires. The company is planning to produce 7.2 million tires annually at the plant by 2020. It also intends to hire an addition 100 people as well as upgrade the plant’s technology. The Hungarian government is supporting the project with a HUF 826m grant
